Barry Frey, Life Coach
Title: Christian Counselor

Barry received his credentials from Light University in Forest Hills, VA. He has also received additional training from American Association of Christian Counseling. He has over 40 years of experience in the business world and has personal experience in the focus areas of his counseling and coaching. He began counseling for Jewel David Ministries in 2011.
His areas of focus are Abuse, Anger Management, Depression, Father Issues, Marriage, Life struggles and Career Consulting.
Barry’s personal vision and desire is to minister to the whole person: body, soul and spirit through the combination of the love of Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, insights into human behavior, training, research and experience.
He is married and has four grown children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Michele Heffner, MS, LPC
Title: MS, Licensed Professional Counselor

Michele (Shelly) received her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University in 1999. In pursuit of her Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor license, she complete additional graduate course at Lancaster Bible College. She worked as a Behavior Specialist and Drug and Alcohol Counselor before becoming a full-time mother and homemaker. She began working for Jewel David Ministries in 2011. She has been a member of Lancaster County's Critical Incident Stress Management team since 2004. Her area of focus includes working with children, teens, individuals and couples. She sees individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, divorce, parenting struggles, life adjustments, grief and loss, infidelity , OCD and more. She has been married for 21 years and is a mother of three. She has life experience as an adoptee and as an adoptive mother. She is a mother of a child with autism and disabilities. She enjoys being physically active, scrapbooking and spending time with family and friends.
Dolores Reidenbach, RN, MA
Title: Director and Christian Counselor

Dolores is the Founder of Jewel David Ministries, Inc. (JDM) of Elizabethtown. Jewel David Ministries was launched to serve women and their families through professional counseling services and remove any financial barriers for those that desire, and would benefit from, professional counseling. JDM also provides short term housing and support programming for individuals and families struggling with homelessness through the House of David program.
Dolores holds an active PA Registered nursing license, master’s degree in marriage and family counseling from Lancaster Bible College and is pursuing a PhD in Leadership.
She has a significant career history in corporate environments and has held several senior leadership positions in the role of Vice President, for healthcare companies including pharmacy, capital equipment, healthcare technology and strategic consulting. But her passion is to lead others to know our loving God and to receive His abundant grace.
Kim Walhiem, MA, LPC

Kimberly received her Bachler of Science degree in Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania and her Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lancaster Bible College and Graduate school. She has worked in the mental health field for 20 years as a Mental Health Worker, group facilitator, Behavioral Specialist, School-based Therapist, Clinical Outpatient Therapist and Christian Counselor. She started working for Jewel David Ministries in 2010. Her area of focus includes working with couples, teens and individuals. She sees individuals dealing with PTSD, Abuse, Autism Spectrum Disorder (level 1), Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Marital Issues, Divorce Recovery, Parenting Concerns, Health Issues, Adjustment Issues and more. She lives with her husband of 20 years and two teenage sons. She has life experience in raising a son whom is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (formally Asperger’s Disorder). Kimberly and her son have taught trainings together to educate teachers and mental health professionals in understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder from a clinical and personal perspective. She enjoys spending time outdoors, being physically active and time with her family, friends and pets.
